ROTAX GRAND FINAL BAHRAIN 2023
On the track at Bahrain where the best drivers over the world were compete for only 1 goal..
To become Rotax world champion!
To mention also that on the race were total of 400 drivers from over 36 countries.
As every year also, this year we had drivers from SSC CHAMPIONSHIP.
And first time in history of SSC CHAMPIONSHIP which is organising by AKK SPORTSTIL already 24. Years we GOT WORLD CHAMPION IN ROTAX MAX SENIOR CATEGORY – ANDREJ PETROVIĆ (Serbia)
With a great and aggressive drive in final race he swept with the whole field!
Also, other drivers did good job on the race and here is a little report from every driver
VITO ČOZA (Croatia) – ROTAX MICRO MAX
Started in 22. Position in final race, gained 16 placed and end on great 6th place. With a bit of luck, he could finish even higher!
DAVID MATLAK (Serbia) – ROTAX MINI MAX
In his category he did not manage to the final, but after he participate also in Promo race E10 (E-kart) and in final race he was leading until last lap, unfortunately in last corner on last lap he got passed and David finished race on 2nd position.
UROŠ BOGDANIĆ (Serbia) – ROTAX MAX JUNIOR
ROTAX MAX JUNIOR is one of most hard group, but Uroš manage to qualified in final.
In final he started from 36 position and with a great overtaking’s he end on 23. Place
ROTAX MAX SENIOR
In ROTAX MAX SENIOR we had 2 drivers from SSC CHAMPIONSHIP, Andrej Petrović (Serbia) and Nik Trobec (Slovenia).
For Andrej we are out of words.. all we can say is simply the best and well earned 1. Place and new ROTAX MAX SENIOR CHAMPION OF THE WORLD ! CONGRATULATION ANDREJ !
Also his father - mechanic was choosen for best mechanic in category !
Nik showed us that he is evolving in good driver !
He manage to qualify in Final and placed 25. On the end out of 72 drivers.

In this category we had 3 drivers !
Nikola Tošić – Serbia
Matic Kolmanič – Slovenia
Xen de Ruwe – Slovenia
Let’s start with Nikola. With solid driving he missed final of best 36 drivers just for a little and
On the end he placed 39. Out of 72 drivers.
Matic Kolmanič – as everyone know on ROTAX GRAND FINAL all karts are lottery picked.
And Matic unfortunately picked bad one .. All week he had problem with kart and engine
But he did not give up and he was giving everything to try qualify in final, but even that was not enough so on the end he ends on 48. Place out of 72 drivers.
Xen de Ruwe – Most overtaking on event
As usually for Xen with the luck he have in Qualification he had problem with engine and could not make his best laps, so he placed 48. Out of 72 drivers.
But as we know him he never give up and every time he push to the max and try to get max out of everything !
So with the great shows on heats he manage to get placed on 5th place for prefinal race and end prefinal on 3th possition.
After points calculated he started FINAL race on 7. Place and in first lap manage to come on 3. Place.
With the passion and adrenalin, he was chasing driver in front of him for 2. Place and in overtaking situation contact was made between Xen and 2. Placed driver, so they both lost 10 places.
But he did not give up and was trying to chase the group back, he manage to end on 7. Place.
And so again one interesting and hot ROTAX GRAND FINAL is behind us.
We showed to the world that we have quality drivers, that can compete with the best and we can be proud on that!

For this new season 2021, the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy 
will take place in Le Mans-France 
from Tuesday 27th to Saturday 31st July!
